EDIT 568: Teaching with the Web (3 credits)
Prerequisite - EDIT561. Examines the various aspects of web-based learning and the ways these tools can be integrated into the teaching/learning process. Assignments, online discussions, and web-based projects are utilized to help students develop a working knowledge of integrating web-based learning structures into their teaching practice as well as expertise in creating their own web-based learning structures. The course is taught online using the Blackboard Course Software (http://blackboard.gmu.edu).
